Board Committees
Fargo School Board members all serve regular and ad hoc committee assignments, with representatives from the administration. The Board’s regular committees that meet annually on at least a quarterly basis are: Communications, Engagement and Advocacy; Governance; Governmental Affairs; Negotiations; and Planning. Board committees are used to support the work of the Board and to reinforce the wholeness of the Board’s job, and never to interfere with delegation of authority from the Board to the Superintendent. For more information regarding Board committees, see Board policies GP-6 and GP-7.
