Fargo Public Schools Social Work Internship Information
Thank you for considering the Fargo Public Schools as a potential site for your social work internship. We are committed to providing the students in our district with access to quality mental health resources and community supports. Our network of Student Wellness and Family Facilitators (SWFFs) and social workers can be an excellent resource for you as you work your way through the educational process of becoming a social worker.
To make this a quality experience for you, your social work supervisor, and especially our students, it is important that we have a complete picture of you and of your expectations as an intern. It is with this in mind that the following internship application materials must be submitted for consideration.
Application Overview
To be considered as an intern in the Fargo Public Schools, applicants must submit:
- A letter of request to be an intern in the Fargo Public Schools (include your program’s required total hours for the internship experience)
- A completed Social Work Internship Application (download here)
- Two letters of recommendation
- An updated resume
- Proof of a completed background check.
