Educational Approach: Personalized, Competency-based Learning

Our instructional model is built on the principle that learning should be self-directed, competency-based, and not confined by traditional time constraints. We emphasize mastery of content through project based learning and personalized pathways facilitated by cutting-edge technology.

• Project-Based Learning (PBL): PBL is a teaching method in which students learn by actively engaging in real-world activities and personally meaningful projects. PBL is embedded throughout the program providing students with integrated units of study across content areas that empower students to have choice and voice in what they learn.
• STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and math): STEAM emphasizes collaboration and exploration through student-centered learning experiences that provide opportunities to engage in hands-on, real-world problem solving.
