Who qualifies to supervise home instruction?
A parent is qualified to supervise a program of home instruction if the parent:
- Holds a high school diploma or general educational development diploma; or
- Meets the requirements of section North Dakota Century Code 15.1-23-06
Parents without a high school diploma or GED may home-school their child as long as they are monitored by a ND-certified teacher for the first two years. Home educators may attend classes, staff development programs, and training sessions provided to FPS teaching staff.

Co-Curriculars
Homeschool students who plan to participate in co-curricular activities (academic, athletic, club, drama, fine arts, music, etc.) must complete the required forms.
- Homeschool students with access should complete their forms in their PowerSchool account.
- Homeschool students who do not have access to PowerSchool should complete their forms on the Students Activities Co-op/Home School webpage.
