Eligibility

 

For the 2024-25 school year, Fargo Public School will operate a limited pre-kindergarten program for 4 year-olds, through a grant program called Best in Class.  There is no charge to participate in the program.  Parents/guardians must provide transportation to and from the program. The program will be held at the Agassiz building, located at 1305 9th Avenue South in Fargo.

To be eligible:

• Students must be 4 years old as of July 31, 2024.
• Students must live within the Fargo Public Schools attendance boundaries.

The program will be offered Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:40 p.m.

The class will be limited to 13 students. Seven of the spots will be reserved for students whose household income is less than 60% of state median income or students who have an identified developmental delay or disability.

The application deadline for consideration in the program is Wednesday, July 31, 2024 at 12 p.m. noon. If more than the maximum number of students apply for participation, a randomized selection process will occur.
