2023 Devil Dog Competition
On Friday, 1 Dec, thirty-five cadets from ND-20061 left Fargo to head to St Paul, Minnesota for the 25th Annual Devil Dog Classic. The Devil Dog Classic is a drill competition hosted by the Marine Corps Junior ROTC unit from Como Park Senior High School. Friday afternoon the Raptors were treated to an afternoon at Dave and Busters playing video games and eating lunch. Friday evening the cadets headed to the Minnesota National Guard Armory in Bloomington where they practiced their routines and spent the night. Saturday morning the cadets were up bright and early to prepare for the competition. Seven JROTC teams from North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa, and Minnesota competed in 10 different events. The competition was divided into two divisions Armed and Unarmed. Each division had 5 events: Inspection, Color Guard, Varsity Regulation Drill, First Year Regulation Drill, and Exhibition Drill. Placement of our teams is as follows:

The team overall finished in 2nd Place in both the Armed and Unarmed Divisions and 2nd Place for the overall Competition. Great job cadets!
