Overview

The Compliance Department was created to conduct monitoring activities to ensure compliance with state and federal laws, including the Individuals with Disabilities in Education Act (IDEA), Section 504, and Title IX.  These important federal laws are designed to ensure students have equitable access to education and extracurricular activities. In addition, each of these laws have unique compliance monitoring requirements that must be met throughout the year to ensure federal funding is not diverted from the District. The Compliance Department will provide corrective feedback measures and strategies for continuous growth and improvement to ensure alignment with federal and state laws.
