Overview

A majority of the City of Fargo is served by the Fargo Public School District, who currently educates more than 11,200 students in kindergarten through grade 12.

Fargo Public Schools’ Explorer Academy Program, Virtual Academy, Self-Directed Academy, Trollwood Performing Arts School, Early Childhood Special Education Program, Adult Education Program, Dakota High School and comprehensive elementary, middle and high schools demonstrate the District’s commitment to a rich academic experience for all students. FPS offers a wide range of classes, activities and athletics for students to meet their abilities and interests. Students graduate being choice ready – meaning they are able to enter college, the military or our workforce and most importantly, exemplify the fulfillment of Fargo Public Schools’ mission to educate and empower all students to succeed.
