United Way of Cass-Clay Government Shutdown Resource & Support Guide

In response to the ongoing 2025 federal government shutdown, United Way of Cass-Clay has been working closely with community partners to make sure our neighbors know where to turn for help and how to give help when they can.

Together with Cass Human Service Zone, Fargo Cass Public Health, SENDCAA, Great Plains Food Bank, the Emergency Food Pantry, Clay County Public Health, and Clay County Social Services, we have created a Community Resource and Support Guide to connect people in need with trusted local resources and opportunities to help.

This guide brings together:

  • Where to find help such as food pantries, meal sites, and essential services
  • Ways to give back through financial giving, volunteering, and donating essentials
  • Opportunities to share where organizations can submit upcoming food distributions, community meals, or volunteer opportunities directly through the site

This guide is unique because it lifts up the full network of support in our community, from well-established programs to grassroots efforts, neighborhood initiatives, and local food pantries serving families across Cass and Clay Counties.
The site will be updated as new information is received so our community can stay informed and connected.
