Remedial Reading/Math for Middle School
Middle School Remedial Program is a teacher/counselor referred program. It is designed to provide additional support for students who are in need of extra instruction in the areas of both math and reading. Students must take both math and reading remedial classes in the summer.
Once your child has been referred to the program, he/she will provide you with a registration form to complete and return to the school counselor. Registration forms are due no later than May 11th.
Middle School Remedial Attendance Policy:
- A tardy will result in entering the classroom after 8:00 a.m.
- A student will be dropped from the program on the third absence.
- Students will only be allowed three tardies. On the fourth tardy, the student will be dropped from the program.
Students are expected to attend all sessions and any absences will require making up of all missed work along with any extra work assigned by the teacher. Parents should call the summer school office if the student is ill and will miss class. The telephone number is 701-446-2028.
