A parent is qualified to supervise a program of home instruction if the parent:

•   Holds a high school diploma or general educational development diploma; or
•   Meets the requirements of section North Dakota Century Code 15.1-23-06

Parents without a high school diploma or GED may home-school their child as long as they are monitored by a ND-certified teacher for the first two years. Home educators may attend classes, staff development programs, and training sessions provided to FPS teaching staff.

If you intend to homeschool your child please complete and return the intent to home educate form.

Homeschool students who plan to participate in co-curricular activities (academic, athletic, club, drama, fine arts, music, etc.) must complete the required forms. 

• Homeschool students with access should complete their forms in their PowerSchool account.
• Homeschool students who do not have access to PowerSchool should complete their forms on the Students Activities Co-op/Home School webpage.
