How long have you been a police officer?
I have been a Police Officer for 15 years and I have spent the majority of my career working in the Criminal Investigations Division on the Crimes Against Children Team.

How long have you been a School Resource Officer (SRO)?
I was selected to fill the Discovery Middle School SRO position in the spring of 2019. My previous assignment investigating Crimes Against Children gave me the opportunity to frequently work with students and school staff at Fargo, Moorhead, and West Fargo Schools.

Why did you become a SRO?
Teamwork around supporting student success is important to me. I want to contribute to the efforts of all school staff to help create a safe learning environment, as well as act as a resource to students and staff who may need the assistance of law enforcement.

What is your training and education?
I received my Law Enforcement Training through Lake Region State College. I have received extensive training in the areas of investigating and responding to physical and sexual abuse of children, human trafficking, and interviewing of children.

    What are your off-duty interests?
I enjoy spending time with my family and friends in the lakes area. Coaching youth hockey and watching my daughters play volleyball, soccer, golf, and hockey fills up most of my free time!
