How long have you been a police officer?
I have been a Police Officer for 6 years total. The last 4 years have been with the Fargo Police Department as a patrol officer.

Why did you become an SRO?
I became an SRO because I enjoy working with kids. I have been told by many SRO’s it’s one of the best and most rewarding jobs. I want to be able to make a positive impact on the students. I want them to be comfortable around police officers and feel they can go to them for help.

What is your training and education?
I graduated from Fargo South High in 2008. I attended Minnesota State University Moorhead and graduated with a degree in Criminal Justice in 2012. I attended Alexandria Technical College for my Police Academy. I have completed the SRO basic course and I look forward to completing the advanced course.

    What are your off-duty interests?
I enjoy spending time with my wife and two sons. I like to ride my motorcycle as much as possible.
