Virtual Academy Students
Virtual Academy students in the 2022-2023 school year will take classes from the North Dakota Center for Distance Education (NDCDE). Fargo Schools students enrolled in the Virtual Academy will be assigned a personal learning device (PLD) by Fargo Schools, which can be picked up after registration. Pickup times for PLD devices will be arranged with the Virtual Academy school leaders.
Notes on PLDs and support:
- Parent/guardians must sign a PLD contract in the PowerSchool Parent online forms before a device will be checked out to their child.
- When the PLD is picked up at the school, a few minutes should be taken at school to make sure the device is properly logged in as the student, and that the student has access to their Gmail account.
- If home internet access is needed, more information can be found HERE
- Because all Virtual Academy courses are run by the North Dakota Center for Distance Education (NDCDE), technical support will need to be provided through NDCDE. If your child is having trouble accessing a VA NDCDE course, call 701-298-4830 and press #3 for support.
