Training Programs and Apprenticeships

  • U.S. Department of Labor- Registered Apprenticeship Program

Registered Apprenticeships connects job seekers looking to learn new skills with employers looking for qualified workers, resulting in a workforce with industry-driven training and employers with a competitive edge.

As an apprentice, you will be immersed in both classroom learning and on the job training from a professional in your chosen field. Unlike college, as an apprentice you will be paid for your time spent learning a trade.

Service Learning Opportunities

  • Students interested in participating in service learning opportunities should stop in the Counseling and Career Center for more information. Often, students need additional training or schooling beyond high to participate in such programs (i.e. Peace Corps, AmeriCorps or mission work).
