State of the Schools Address & Public Focus Group

The Fargo Public Schools will hold the 2019-20 State of the Schools Address & Public Focus Group on Tuesday, January 7, 2020 from 6:00 to 8:15 p.m. at South High School, 1840 South 15th Avenue, Fargo. Superintendent Dr. Rupak Gandhi will preside over the State of the Schools Address in the school auditorium. After the address, participants will break out into small groups for discussion. The goal of the focus groups is to gather community feedback as the District sets the course for the future of Fargo Public Schools and the education it provides students.
Questions posed in the focus groups will concentrate on components of the District’s five-year MTSS-B plan, which are restorative practices, trauma sensitive schools and embedded social and emotional curriculum. Attendees will receive reading materials electronically in advance of the event.
Registration for the event closed on December 18. Participants who preregistered for the event will receive reading materials via email along with their assigned focus group number in advance. Reading materials include:
