State of the Schools Address & Public Focus Group

    The Fargo Public Schools will hold the 2020-21 State of the Schools Address & Public Focus Group on Thursday, January 14, 2021 starting at 7:00 p.m.  This year's event will be held virtually. Superintendent Dr. Rupak Gandhi will preside over the State of the Schools Address through a video. After the video address, participants will break out into small groups for discussion. The goal of the focus groups is to gather community feedback as the District sets the course for the future of Fargo Public Schools and the education it provides students.

    Questions posed in the focus groups will concentrate on on scheduling the school calendar and instructional time in Fargo Public Schools; please see Document #2 below for a listing of the focus group questions.  

    Registration for the event closed on December 30. Participants who preregistered will receive additional information via email in advance of the event. Reading materials for the event include: 

        Participant Document #1:  Fargo Public Schools Annual Report 2019-20 – This report provides background information about the district.

        Participant Document #2:  Public Focus Group Process – This booklet contains the questions that will be used to facilitate discussions and relevant background information.

    The Fargo Public Schools holds the State of the Schools Address and Public Focus Group annually.
