Fargo Public Schools currently holds a service contract with Valley Bus for providing transportation service throughout the district. 

FPS runs more than 50 bus routes during the traditional school year.  This consists of 45+ regular routes and 35+ special needs routes.   FPS also provides for 16 Extended School Year (ESY) routes for special needs students during the summer.  Further, FPS provides transportation for extra-curricular activities, field trips, and shuttle service.  Although not a hard rule, FPS uses an half mile walkout area as a general standard to determine eligibility of bussing.
