March 2023
- Jan Jordan Scholarship - Deadline March 24, 2023 - 3 $1000 scholarships will be awarded. Child or grandchild of a current city employee or elected city official. Registered for the fall as a full-time student in an accredited North Dakota university, college or vocational/technical certification program. (Full-time status is determined by the criteria of the institution being attended.)
- OppU Achievers Scholarship - Deadline March 31, 2023 - Students must have a minimum 3.0 GPA. Otherwise, this scholarship is based solely on an essay.
- Fargo School Foundation Scholarships - Deadline March 31, 2023 **The ones listed below, applications are available in the Career Center.**
- Rob Arneson Memorial Scholarship - Awarded to a well-rounded senior who is serious about pursuing a career in elementary education and who has demonstrated academic success and leadership ability.
- Helen Erickson Fossum Literary Scholarship - Awarded to a student who is involved in the community and has a love for literature, communications or the arts.
- Linda Lockwood Memorial Scholarship - Awarded to Fargo South High School senior female student athlete who demonstrates the values that Linda exhibited: fair play and sportsmanship, community involvement, and a passion for life.
- Rick Pierce & Northland Truss Systems scholarship - Awarded to a senior who is serious about pursuing a career in construction or related industries and who has demonstrated academic success and leadership ability.
- Patricia Vogel Scholarship - Awarded to a female senior who has a broad interest in fine arts.
- American Crystal Sugar - Awarded to a senior who is attending a 4-year college in one of the following fields: Science, Agriculture, Engineering, Mathematics or Technology.
- American Crystal Sugar - Awarded to a senior who is attending a 2 year technical school in one of the following fields: Science, Agriculture, Engineering, Mathematics or Technology.
- Next Grad Scholarship - Deadline March 31, 2023- $500 scholarship awarded to a senior attending any post-secondary institution and has a 3.0 GPA. Applications are available in the Career Center.
- Fargo Retired Teachers' Association Scholarship - Deadline March 31, 2023 - A $1000 scholarship offered to students who plan to pursue a career in teaching/education as a post secondary education. Applications are available in the Career Center.
- Fargo School Foundation Scholarships - Deadline March 31, 2023 **The ones listed below you need to fill out the application and follow instructions on the Foundation website** Follow the link in red for all of the scholarships listed below.
- Janet D. Beaton Family Scholarship - Awarded to a Fargo South student who has interest and achievement in the area of visual arts or business. GPA 3.0 or higher.
- Neil Fredenburg Memorial Scholarship - Awarded to a student athlete who strongly displays excellence in the classroom, excellence on the field of play, and possesses a true passion for life.
- Leah Juelke Journey to America Scholarship - Awarded to a Fargo South student whose native language is not English and who is going to pursue a post-secondary degree in any field. GPA 2.0 or higher.
- Sam Neis Memorial Scholarship - Awarded annually to a Fargo South High School senior female or male athlete. It is funded by Sanford Orthopedics and Sports Medicine in memory of Coach Sam Neis.
- Donovan Nelson Memorial Scholarship - Awarded to a well-rounded senior with good communication skills who is serious about pursuing a career in education and who has demonstrated academic success and leadership ability. GPA 3.0 or greater.
- Jared Niles Memorial Scholarship - Awarded to a graduating South High senior who was chosen to be in the Donkey Hotey’s Improvisational Club, who has performed in front of a live audience and is actively involved in weekly workshops.
- Nate Olsby Memorial Scholarship - Awarded to a Fargo South High School senior athlete. GPA 3.0 or higher.
- Lenore and Norman Tenneson Memorial Scholarship - Awarded to a student who has demonstrated a strong desire to learn and understands the value of education. Overall GPA 3.0 or higher.
- Vice Admiral Robert & Sally Baldwin Award - This scholarship will be awarded to a well-rounded senior and selected on the basis of their academic and leadership talents. Consideration will be given to Native American students. GPA 3.0 or greater.
- Chelsea Brandt Entrepreneurial Scholarship - Awarded to a Fargo Public Schools student who is interested in the entrepreneurial or business field.
- Fargo Area Dollars for Scholars - A community scholarship program helping students expand their access to educational opportunities. Selection is based on GPA, Test Scores, Activities, Awards, Employment, Essays and References.
- Walt Hatlestad Memorial Scholarship - This annual scholarship is awarded to an academically motivated student who is the child of an educator.
- Jeulke - Disale Educator Scholarship - Awarded to a Fargo area student whose native language is not English and who is going to pursue a post-secondary degree in Education. GPA 2.0 or higher.
April 2023
- Dollars for Scholars - Deadline April 1, 2023 - Students are invited to apply for scholarships between January 1 and April 1 each year. Scholarship awards range from $600 to $2,500.
- EducateND Scholarship - Deadline April 1, 2023 - Students who have graduated from a North Dakota high school or were home-educated in North Dakota and are pursuing an Education degree. Have at least a 2.75 cumulative GPA and be a junior, senior, or graduate student during the 2023-24 school year.
- Essentia Health Scholarship - Deadline April 1, 2023 - A $1000 Scholarship available to a graduating South Senior interested in the field of medicine or science. Applications are available in the Career Center.
- Lowry Engineering Scholarship - Deadline April 1, 2023 - High school seniors enrolled to attend NDSU or UND and pursuing a career in an engineering field. Applications are available in the Career Center.
- Reuben T. Guenthner Scholarship - Deadline April 1, 2023 - Be a graduating senior and completed one or more career and technical education courses between grades 9 and 12; (Career and Technical Education courses may be in any of the following programs: Agriculture Education; Business Education; Family and Consumer Sciences; Information Technology; Marketing Education; Technology and Engineering Education; or any of the programs in Trade, Industry, Technical and Health Education. Applications are available in the Career Center.
- NDMCA Foundation - Deadline April 14, 2023 - This scholarship is for an individual who meets one of the following criteria:
- works for a member company
- parent works for a member company
- sponsored by a member company
- OLA Academic Scholarships - Deadline April 15, 2023 - open to all Latino high school seniors who will be enrolled in a 2- or 4-year program this fall. There are no GPA or major/minor requirements for most OLA programs, but students should demonstrate interest and/or commitment to pursuing the actuarial profession. No letters of recommendation are required to apply.
- BCC Foundation Donna Johnson Memorial Scholarship - Deadline April 20, 2023 - is open to a Senior High student who is planning to attend Bismarck College majoring in Oncology. Applications are available in the Career Center.
- Crystal Nienas Scholarship - Deadline April 21, 2023 - Awarded to a well-rounded female senior who is serious about pursuing a career in education and who has demonstrated academic success and leadership ability. Applications are available in the Career Center.
- UND Communication Appreciation Day Scholarship - Deadline April 22,2023 - $1000 scholarship opportunity given at UND Communication Day. The requirement is planning to attend UND in the fall and major in communication.
- Student-View Scholarship Program - Deadline April 23, 2023 - It is open to all students regardless of academic achievement or financial need who are attending a 4 year college, 2 year technical school or career school. Fill out a brief 15- 20 minute survey.
- ND Association of General Contractors Scholarship - Deadline April 24, 2023 - Available to High School Seniors pursuing a career in the exciting and rewarding field of construction.
- FEA Scholarship - Deadline April 28, 2023 - Up to 4 scholarships are awarded for $500 each. Preference given to applicants who are FEA members' children.
- Dakota Lions Sight & Health Scholarship - Deadline April 30, 2023 - Qualified applicants must be pursuing an education in a field related to the Mission of Dakota Lions Sight & Health (Helping to Enable the Restoration of the Gifts of Sight & Health) - this may include health professions, science and research, social services, philanthropy, nonprofit organizations, etc.
May 2023
- B. Davis Scholarship - Deadline May 21, 2023 - This Scholarship is available to all high school juniors and seniors as well as all students currently registered in any post-second institution. Provide a 1000 word essay to describe the three characteristics of leadership you value most. Discuss why you believe that these traits are so important and how you feel that they are developed in an individual.
- OppU Achievers Scholarship - Deadline May 31, 2023 - Students must have a minimum of 3.0 GPA. Otherwise, this scholarship is based solely on an essay.
June 2023
- A&F Scholarships - Deadline June 10, 2023 - all high school juniors and seniors are eligible.
- Boom and Bucket Scholarship Program - Deadline June 15, 2023 - Senior students are encouraged to apply for $1,000 to be awarded each year to a student pursuing a heavy machinery-themed program.
