Cass County Electric is looking for applicants for its annual Youth Tour in Washington, D.C. Winners go with other students from other cooperatives in North Dakota. It is a great opportunity and our past winners have been extremely pleased the experience. They must be a Cass County Electric customer. All they need to do to apply is write a two page essay or create a poster, answering the question: “In choosing a career in the energy industry, what type of job would you be most interested in and why?” Visit www.youthtour.coop for more information! North Dakota Area Health Education Centers will host Scrubs Academy 2 in Bismarck from August 4-6, 2013. High school students from across the state can attend two days of intensive exposure to health care careers at Bismarck State College, Sanford School of Nursing, and St. Alexius Medical Center. AP and Dual Credit Information |
- Advanced Placement (AP)--AP courses are classes offered at Davies High School that have a challenging, college-level workload. Students may take an AP exam at the completion of their course (dates are national and cannot be rescheduled, although a make-up date is available). See your counselor for testing dates, classes offered at Davies, and any additional information.
- Dual Credit--The following classes are offered for Dual Credit with NDSCS at Davies: AP Biology, AP Physics B, Anatomy/Physiology, and AP Chemistry. Juniors and seniors may also take a class at a post-secondary institution and apply the class to both their high school and college transcripts. CLICK HERE for additional information.
