Our Mission: Woodrow Wilson Community High School is an alternative school serving students who, for a variety of reasons, desire options in their educational experience not possible in a traditional high school setting. Using an independent instructional method, Woodrow Wilson Community High School provides students with an alternative means of completing courses. Students work independently, with the instructor's guidance and assistance on course materials, completing courses needed to obtain a high school diploma.
Woodrow Wilson Community High School is a supportive, caring place where students are treated as responsible young adults. Students attending Woodrow Wilson Community High School must have the desire to work and study on their own. They are expected and required to act as young adults who are in charge of their own educational experience and behavior. Woodrow Wilson Community High School is an alternative school - not an alternative to school. Students who make a personal commitment to themselves and to work hard can succeed.
