>Since summer school covers such a large amount of material in such a short amount of time, regular attendance is required. A maximum of 7.5 hours of accumulated absence is allowed; this seat time requirement is a ND Department of Public Instruction rule.

If a student exceeds 7.5 hours of accumulated absence, the student will receive a withdraw/fail from summer school.

BE ON TIME! All tardies exceeding 5 minutes will be rounded up to the next half hour. Tardy time will count towards the 7.5 hours of total absence.

Students are allowed up to 3 tardies. On the 4th tardy, the student will be dropped from the course(s) and receive a withdraw/fail.
>Students must be present the full day of class on the last day of each session! Half the class will be instruction, the other half will be the final exam.
>Grades 6-8 are NOT allowed to enroll in High School courses.
