Meal Price Increase School meal prices for 2013-14 were approved to increase 5¢ per meal to comply with the Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act. A provision of the law requires schools to charge students the difference between the free meal reimbursement and paid meal reimbursement, which is $2.59. Schools that charge less are required to gradually increase their prices over time until they meet the requirement. The price of milk will remain at 35¢. Meal prices for 2013-14 will be:
