You will need to file for a petition. Petitions are annual, so just because your child is accepted one year doesnot mean they will be accepted in subsequent years. The decision is made by the principal's at both the sending and the receiving school and is based on class size. If your petition is granted, you will be solely responsible for transportation to and from school.

Kindergarten registration will be held the week of February 11-15, at the school your child will attend. Your child must turn 5 years old on or before July 31, 2013.

Please go to that school anytime from 7:30am-4:00pm during that time period to register. You will need a certified birth certificate, record of immunizations (if your child has received the 5 year shots; if not the immunizations can be sent to the school any time before school starts) and proof of residence (Utility bill or some other bill sent to your house with your name and address on it)

The school will have all the forms for you to fill out.
